DESIGNERS COMMENTS: This newly created open-plan kitchen & living space was the canvas for a modern handleless kitchen. The client wanted to integrate colour, texture and practicality. To make use of the outdoor entertaining space I positioned the dining area by the bi-fold patio doors. Next to the dining area I used bespoke tall cabinets to create a hidden utility area that conceal the washing machine and tumble dryer, convieniently located near the garden doors so washing can be easily taken to the line.

Using Schuller’s ribbed Scala door in a deep blue on all of the tall units adds a dramatic texture to the design which is complimented by the minimalist pale rose handleless range. Introducing a touch of wood for the seating area and planter adds warmth and character.
